Our cruising genoas provide the ultimate durability, range and versatility in a reefable sail. Fabric weight is typically heavier than for a single-purpose sail. Protection of the furled sail against UV light is provided by either traditional acrylic or white UV Dacron. The finest, lowest stretch woven polyester materials are used to insure durability and exceptional shape holding. Shaping is also custom tailored to expected usage, but usually features flatter overall sections with a very straight exit for good upwind and high wind performance. |

Woven mainsails rely on the proven performance and durability of the lowest stretch versions of traditional woven polyester. They are still by far the most popular mainsail construction for small to medium size cruising boats Woven sails utilize traditional “cross-cut” panel layouts, which orient sections from luff to leech. Woven mainsails provide an excellent balance between performance and durability. |
